I was named Vice President and Group Publisher of NewBeauty in September 2008. My track record in contributing to the success and growth of NewBeauty has been pivotal to the development of the brand. Leveraging the success of the beauty authority, I helped launch TestTube and BeautyDNA which are game-changers in the beauty subscription space. Under my leadership, NewBeauty has experienced double-digit growth annually across print, digital and experiential media.
Before joining SANDOW, I spent six years working for Condé Nast’s American City Business Journal division, where I led category development and growth, as well as the event sponsorship department.
As Editor-in-Chief of NewBeauty magazine since its launch in 2005, I direct the overall voice of the NewBeauty brand, including our magazine’s art and copy and our beauty sampling service TestTube. More recently, I helped develop SANDOW’s revolutionary online beauty product matching service BeautyDNA.
At Modem Media New York, I was a senior member of the new business team where I created and pitched strategies and consumer experience innovations for clients such as Avon and L’Oréal. Before that, I was an art director at Ogilvy & Mather’s New York City interactive department, where I helped develop successful branding strategies for Kodak, Jaguar, MTV and others.
