In her role, Chapski oversees all aspects of NewBeauty’s Omni-channel development, further diversifying and developing the brands existing revenue streams to continuously engage NewBeauty ’s consumers and supporting marketing partners. Chapski also spearheads Beauty Engine, the company’s newly formed beauty solutions business.
Prior to NewBeauty, Chapski was Publisher, Chief Revenue Officer at Allure, a position she held for nine years. Before joining Allure, she held Associate Publisher positions at Vanity Fair and Lucky, all Condé Nast brands. Before her distinguished career at Condé Nast, Chapski worked at Weider Publications, as Vice President, Group Advertising Director for all women’s titles and then as Vice President and Publisher of Jump.
As editor-in-chief, Dougherty oversees NewBeauty’s editorial vision, directs and executes the creative voice of the brand and leads NewBeauty’s editorial, digital and social teams. Dougherty also works closely with NewBeauty and Beauty Engine President, Agnes Chapski, to further expand the brand’s multi-channel development activities, including its innovative TestTube, Beauty DNA and NewBeauty Pro businesses.
Previously, Dougherty held the title of Beauty and Fitness Director at ELLE where she spent 16 years editing the beauty section, the largest of any U.S. women’s fashion magazine. Under her leadership, ELLE Beauty won more industry awards than all other fashion magazines combined. Prior to ELLE, Dougherty was Deputy Editor at NYLON where she spearheaded the brand’s redesign, which earned an ASME nomination for General Excellence. Dougherty has also held senior positions at Harper’s Bazaar and Mademoiselle.
