Worth Leading Wealth Advisors Program

UnknownThe Worth Leading Wealth Advisors Program provides a platform for money management, insurance and accounting firms to address Worth readers in their own voice about topics on which they have expertise.

The program accomplishes three things: First, it provides expert content that is published in Worth magazine and on our digital platform. We work with our Leading Wealth Advisors to identify content that both demonstrates their expertise and resonates with our readers.

Second, the program provides a platform for advisors to generate exposure for their own businesses to potential clients—Worth’s consumer audience. In partnership with Paladin Advisor Research, Worth screens members of the Leading Wealth Advisors Program to ensure that each firm is accomplished and reputable.

Third, the program generates revenue for the Worth Group. Once prospective advisors are vetted, they pay a fee to be featured on the Worth platform. This “sponsored content” is marked so that our readers understand the difference between traditional editorial and content that is associated with revenue. Whether editorial or sponsored, Worth only features content that meets our exacting standards of excellence.

Summits + Events


Worth holds four tent-pole summit events annually that convene a collection of wealth advisors, partners and thought leaders for an intimate interaction that has been described as part TED Talks, part executive education and part socializing with some of the most interesting and influential individuals in the world. Among other things, what makes the Worth Summits unique is their size—we limit attendance to approximately 75-100 people, each of whom is personally vetted and hand-selected.


Worth collaborates with wealth advisors and world-class brands to create custom events that engage the extraordinary. These range from private activations—such as the one we recently produced, in collaboration with a jewelry partner, for a Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management advisor and 25 of her high net worth clients—to the ride and drives we create for automotive partners and car enthusiasts.

In my role, I lead Worth’s editorial team and oversee the content distributed via our print, digital and broadcast products. I spearhead the Worth Power 100—the authoritative look at the most powerful people in global finance. I identify and secure thought leaders—Wells Fargo Chairman and CEO John Stumpf, California Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom and FOX Business journalist Trish Regan, for example—to participate in Worth events, and I structure and moderate discussions among them.


I’ve been a writer and editor for over 20 years. My three books include: American Son: A Portrait of John F. Kennedy, Jr.; Harvard Rules, which I wrote about a tumultuous period in the history of America’s oldest university; and The Greatest Game: The Yankees, the Red Sox, and the Playoff of ’78. I served as Executive Editor of 02138, the magazine for Harvard alumni; Regardie’s, a Washington business monthly; and the political magazine George. I am a graduate of Yale College and Harvard University, where I received my master’s.

I develop and oversee the production of the look, feel and presentation of Worth’s suite of products. With my colleagues, I establish and maintain Worth’s brand standards and am the guardian of the Worth aesthetic. I lead the team that produces the layout and design of the company’s flagship product, Worth magazine, and its digital and broadcast channels and content.


I have been an artist and art director for over 20 years for a wide variety of publications, products and organizations. I am honored to have won design awards throughout my career, including those received by Worth, and for Best New Magazine and Best Overall Design by the Florida Magazine Association. I have served as a judge in design and illustration contests nationally, including Folio’s Eddie & Ozzie Awards, American Illustrators (AI30) and min’s Digital Awards. I am a graduate of Mississippi State University.

I lead Worth sales and revenue-generating functions, collaborations with strategic brand partners and relationship management activities with many of the company’s most important constituents. I am deeply involved in the Worth Group’s overall strategy and plans to grow the Worth brand’s global value and reach. For six years, I have had the privilege of creating value for Worth’s wealth advisors and advertisers through developing creative, impactful—and ultimately successful—marketing, sales and relationship management programs.


I have been a sales and marketing executive for over 20 years. Prior to joining Worth, I served as President of MGX Lab, which was an innovative digital media and brand strategy company started by Marquis Jet; Vice President and Publisher of Robb Report; and Publisher of Playboy magazine. I am honored to have worked with many of the world’s leading luxury and financial brands, including: Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, NetJets, AIG Private Client Group, SkyBridge Capital, Brioni, BalHarbour Shops, the New York Yankees and others. I am a graduate of Curry College.

I develop Worth’s strategy and oversee its position as a trusted, impactful and important resource for discerning individuals and the brands that reach them. I work with the editorial and sales teams to create smart, compelling content and develop opportunities that are beneficial to both our investment partners and our audience.


I’ve held leadership roles in the for-profit, non-profit and academic sectors. I am the Co-Founder, Principal and former President of Axcess Worldwide. I also worked as a senior fundraiser at Harvard, where I pursued large, complex gifts. In 2012, St. Martin’s Press released my book, Howard’s Gift, inspired by my relationship with iconic Harvard professor Howard H. Stevenson. I am a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and Harvard’s Kennedy School, where I received my master’s.

I’m also the Founder and CEO of Axcess Worldwide, the world’s first partnership development company, and the CEO of its Hong Kong-based subsidiary. Prior to selling my stake, I had a role in the ownership group of the Atlanta Hawks. I am a member the board of directors of the Captivate Network and the Chairman of the Atlanta Chapter of After-School All-Stars.


Growing up in the hospitality industry, I served as the head of corporate relations for the American Hotel & Lodging Association, working with the leadership of major hotel chains. Prior to that, I was Executive Vice President at Cendant Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, in the 1990s. I am a graduate of the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
