Overview:

The Art Director brings innovative ideas and concepts to Luxe Interiors + Design, connecting our strategy (and our client’s strategies) with high-impact pieces. We are looking for a candidate who has an extensive graphic design vocabulary and is open to new creative design challenges. This position extends Luxe Interiors + Design’s brand identity through sales and promotional materials, primarily managing print and online projects, as well as video and photo shoots. The Art Director must be strategically and conceptually strong, able to work across a wide range of deliverables including custom content, digital ad units, advertorials, high-impact print executions, presentations, email blasts, sell pieces, event collateral, etc. Luxe Interiors + Design’s Art Director collaborates with internal marketing partners and clients on custom projects. Need to be able to work under tight deadlines coupled with a dedicated team spirit.

Responsibilities:

  • Pitch, design and produce all collateral for marketing and sales teams
  • Conceive, pitch, and produce custom creative for clients; in-book, online, packaging, video and photo shoots
  • Collaborate on brand strategy, digital development, and new revenue initiatives
  • Create and produce all event collateral, such as custom invitations, signage, etc.
  • Oversee design and workflow for bi-monthly advertorial and promotion pages

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a designer in publishing or advertising
  • Self-starter with energy, enthusiasm, and passion for design
  • Extensive experience within the luxury market, especially within the design and shelter category
  • Ability to balance great design with meeting short deadlines
  • Extreme attention to detail and consistency of work
  • Must be well organized and able to balance multiple simultaneous projects
  • Proven record of collaborative work on design ideas and projects as well as working independently
  • Understanding of both print and digital design
  • Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and PowerPoint
