Material Bank is a new technology and logistics company that helps designers and trade professionals specify material, building, and architectural products.  The platform provides users the ability to review and order millions of product samples from leading brands all in a single location.  As user’s source and specify through Material Bank’s sophisticated search and discovery tools, the platform connects them with brands, ultimately driving purchasing decisions.

Material Bank is seeking an established industry sales leader to grow our Brand Partner Network, which today includes ~150 brands.  This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and is energized by leading change and bringing a revolutionary solution to market.  Rapid growth is expected, as the response to Material Bank has been overwhelmingly positive and the true value to the industry is apparent.  The Executive Vice President of Sales goal will be to increase Material Bank’s footprint throughout the country and across product categories.

In addition to core responsibility of directly selling Material Bank to top level executives at large A&D product manufacturers, the EVP of Sales will also manage a sales team (currently two individuals).  Material Bank is a hands-on company, and this is a hands-on role.

The EVP of Sales will also work hand-in-hand with the CEO and Founder, as well as the COO, on items ranging from business strategy, to go-to-market planning, to tactical execution.


  • Experience in Architecture & Design product manufacturing or design firm
  • Excellent ability to establish successful relationships with C-Suite decision makers and manage executive-level sales process
  • Strong solutions-based seller, with the ability to think creatively and strategically about business opportunities
  • Proven sales management skills
  • Passionate commitment to the work you do
  • Work related travel will be required 50% of the time
