Material Bank is a new business unit within SANDOW, a leader in innovation and design that is setting out to change the way A&D specifiers get their work done. The platform provides users with the ability to review and order product samples across leading brands, all from a single location. As users source and specify through Material Bank’s sophisticated search and discovery tools, the platform connects them with the brands, ultimately driving purchasing decisions.

As Technical Product Manager you will drive the product journey and partner closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver on features for the Material Bank site, app, and Material Desk.  Defining product roadmaps, working hands-on with stakeholders, and leading the product vertical are but a few of the core functions of this role.  The profile of success in this role will be someone who is a tenacious, ambitious, self-starter, adaptable, with a passion for e-commerce.   • Lead research and design of user feature-sets
  • Lead research and design of internal tools and integrations
  • Develop the product roadmap and build consensus on prioritization, ultimately driving product execution
  • Create technical specifications
  • Lead implementations and new-feature roll-outs
  • Create release notes and provide status updates
  • Design prototyping
  • Act as a key product expert


  • 5+ years of experience in product management with e-commerce preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Operations Management, Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Technically savvy, including knowledge of software development, mobile development and system integration
  • Highly motivated to research and learn so as to keep technical skills relevant in a highly complex and ever-changing environment
  • Specific experience delivering large scale product solutions
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of cross functional and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Thorough understanding of modern product management and design research practices
