Vice President, Sales + Client Service

SANDOW is seeking a VP, Sales + Client Service to grow opportunities and oversee the day-to- day activities of its custom content agency - with a focus on clients in the areas of design and luxury. A significant part of your responsibilities will be to prospect, qualify, and close deals for custom publishing, branded content, digital marketing, and distribution services. In addition to generating your own leads, you will act as a partner to SANDOW sales representatives (@ Luxe Interiors + Design, Interior Design, Galerie, NewBeauty), with the goal of generating business from existing media clients. As a leader on the agency team, you will participate in setting the go-to-market strategy, launching new offerings, building the team, and implementing systems to effectively manage projects from start to finish.

Ultimately, your top priority will be to mine a robust new business pipeline, manage client pitches, develop proposals, work closely with internal experts, and move prospects through the full sales cycle in order to attain financial goals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of sales experience
  • Experience and expertise selling custom content or agency services
  • Understanding of both print and digital media services
  • Excellent client-facing and presentation skills
  • Strong process for prospecting and the development of new business
  • Quantifiable track record of success
  • Relationships nationally a plus; however, the position is New York-based
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Willingness to travel – 30%
