NEW YORK, NEW YORK, November 16, 2018 – Galerie Magazine today announced the appointment of Mara Gredick as the publication’s Chief Revenue Officer. Gredick, an eight-year veteran of Hearst, will be responsible for leading strategy in print, digital, social, and events, as well as launching new platforms and creating strategic partnerships for the brand.
Gredick most recently led the strategy, sales, and marketing for Town & Country, driving double-digit growth for the brand. Mara was instrumental to the development and success of multiple revenue-driving initiatives, including the Town & Country Philanthropy Summit, their 2018 Jewelry Awards, and the revival of Town & Country Travel. Prior to Town & Country, Gredick held positions at Harper’s Bazaar, Bon Appetit and Elle.
“With our ambitious editorial plans and wealth of content, Galerie is primed to take the next leap as a brand. Adding Mara to the Galerie team is the next step in our evolution, and I’m eager to collaborate with her on ideas and partner in creating innovative packages for our media partners.” said Jacqueline Terrebonne, Editor in Chief, Galerie.
Galerie Media Group, a partnership between SANDOW and Hudson Publishing, announced growth plans and leadership changes at Galerie magazine in May 2018, including investments to expand the brand and naming Terrebonne as editor in chief.
“I am thrilled to be joining Lisa, Jackie and the entire Galerie team to continue Lisa’s vision to inspire our readers and partners to Live Artfully,” said Gredick. “Lisa’s passion for integrating art and design into every aspect of life was what attracted me to this brand, as well as the opportunity to join SANDOW, a company synonymous with innovation.”
Said Galerie Founder and Editorial Director, Lisa Fayne Cohen, “We are delighted to welcome Mara to Galerie. She is uniquely qualified to leverage Galerie’s market position, unique content, and unparalleled audience, and I look forward to accomplishing great things together.”
Gredick will assume this role on November 26th and will be based out of Galerie’s headquarters at 101 Park Avenue in New York.
