Interior Design Magazine Recognizes Top Design Professionals at “Best of Year” 2013

Design community’s preeminent competition honors the industry’s finest projects and products.

NEW YORK, December 9, 2013 — Interior Design magazine (interiordesign.net), the global design authority, held its eighth annual “Best of Year” awards on Thursday, December 5 at the IAC Building in New York City. Over 900 members of the design and architecture community gathered to celebrate the year’s outstanding industry projects and products.

Hosted by Interior Design Editor-in-Chief Cindy Allen and President Mark Strauss, 113 event winners were selected across 108 categories by Allen and a jury of design leaders.

“This year’s BoY was especially nail biting, with so much incredible work going head-to-head, brand new categories introduced for the first time, and even a few surprise ties!” said Allen. “We at Interior Design applaud all best of year and honorees for their significant contributions to the design world and can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2014.”
