James N. Dimonekas Joins SANDOW as EVP Sales

NEW YORK, NY (September 1, 2009) — Sandow Media, publisher of high-end consumer titles NewBeauty, LUXE, Worth and WatchJournal, has named James N. Dimonekas to a newly created position of Executive Vice President, Sales, Sandow Media.

Given his tremendous experience and track record at both Marquis Jet and Robb Report, we are greatly looking forward to many exciting developments in the next few months,” said CEO Adam I. Sandow.

Mr. Dimonekas joined Marquis Jet in June 2007 as President of MGX Lab, a web development company that specializes in incubating, innovating and developing brand experiences and whose clients include Tom Brady, The Jonas Brothers, American Idol and Muhammad Ali. He also served as Senior Vice President for Marquis Jet and Executive Vice President for Suite‐Access.

Prior to Marquis Jet, Mr. Dimonekas served as vice president and publisher at Robb Report, a leading luxury lifestyle magazine. During his four‐year tenure, Mr. Dimonekas generated record‐breaking revenues, culminating in a 400+ page issue in June 2007. Under his leadership, Robb Report became a leading force in the luxury lifestyle space.

Mr. Dimonekas also had a highly successful tenure as publisher at Playboy where he led significant revenue growth in the fashion, consumer electronics, spirits and direct response categories. He began his career in publishing in 1984 at Ziff‐Davis with the launch of PC Week.

A graduate of Curry College, Mr. Dimonekas lives with his wife, Sarah, and three children in Darien, Connecticut.
