NEW YORK, October 10, 2017 – Luxe Interiors + Design today announced its “BE RED” campaign (#BeREDWithLuxe), a six-month-long initiative dedicated to celebrating and recognizing residential excellence in design, with newly launched luxury built-in kitchen appliance brand Signature Kitchen Suite as the exclusive sponsor. At the centerpiece of BE RED is the launch of the brand’s first annual Luxe RED Awards, the only regional residential design awards competition with national exposure.
The Luxe RED Awards launches on October 15, 2017 as a component of the six-month BE RED campaign dedicated to honoring luxury design in the industry. The campaign extends from architecture to interiors, landscape design, fabric, furniture and materials, and aims to inspire, showcase and unite design professionals, influencers and consumers. A multidisciplinary panel of notable industry experts led by Luxe Vice President and Editor in Chief, Pamela Jaccarino, will review submissions and select the winners. The esteemed group of judges includes Ellie Cullman, Holly Hunt, Kathryn Ireland, Tom Kligerman and Paul Wiseman. Each project will be evaluated on its own merits based on three criteria: Aesthetics, Regional Relevance and Creativity.
The Luxe RED Awards comprises nine categories, in addition to a Reader’s Choice component, which recognizes the most popular entry according to readers in each category. The categories are:
- Contemporary Interior Design
- Classic Interior Design
- Contemporary Architecture
- Classic Architecture
- Landscape Design
- Outdoor Living Space
- Major Restoration or Renovation
- Reader’s Choice
Designers, architects, builders and landscape architects; and architecture and design firms from Luxe’s 13 regional markets are eligible for entry. Project submissions may be located anywhere and must have been completed between 2016 and 2017. Submissions that have been previously published will be accepted. Entrants may submit their projects at www.luxeredawards.com from October 15 – December 15, 2017. Entries may opt into the Reader’s Choice Award, decided by the general public, for each category. Voting will take place online from January 15 – February 1, 2018. Winners will be recognized at the Luxe RED Awards ceremony in Spring 2018, and featured in Luxe’s May/June 2018 issue.
