→ SANDOW has a growing foothold in China with its publications, Interior Design China, Luxe Interiors + Design, Furniture/Today China, and Surfaces China and Asia, casting a spotlight on the designers leading the trends and reshaping the creative landscape. SANDOW maintains a presence in China through its wholly owned subsidiary Material ConneXion, the leading global platform for material innovation and solutions. A Material ConneXion library was opened in Beijing in September 2011 and another in Shanghai opened in January 2012. Material ConneXion has plans to expand its presence throughout China with eight more library locations scheduled to open by 2015.
In January 2012, Material ConneXion opened a new office in Shanghai to support clients in the region. This is the company’s fifth location in Asia, in recognition of the vital importance of the region to global sourcing and manufacturing. The locations in Beijing and Shanghai and by the end of 2012, Guangzhou, provide a strategic beachhead for material development, research and outsourcing in a country that is so prominent in this field.
Interior Design China is a reliable source of information and inspiration meeting the needs of an international audience of interior designers, architects and design enthusiasts. It presents exciting and excellent interior design cases, cutting-edge ideas and product designs and figure reports, encouraging exchanges and interaction among designers through a global platform.
Luxe Interiors + Design marks its global expansion with Luxe Interiors + Design China, debuting July 2012. With a distribution of 50,000 issues per month, the monthly publication will be delivered to wealthy homeowners throughout China, as well as sold on newsstands. Luxe Interiors + Design China fulfills the interest and demand among affluent Chinese consumers for western design, brands and inspiration.
Launched in September 2010, Furniture/Today China aims to fulfill the needs of both international and Chinese furnishing markets. Presenting a broader vision and professional B2B media concept, Furniture/Today China quickly won the high recognition in the industry. It is not only referred to as the “furniture industry business guide,” but also ranked as one of the important Chinese furnishing industry media according to China Daily on November 4, 2011.
