Multiplatform company debuts on Florida Trend’s annual list.
BOCA RATON, July 16, 2013 — SANDOW (sandow.com), a leader in building influential brands in beauty, design, business information and luxury, has been named one of Florida Trend magazine’s top 200 top privately-held companies, part of its annual list of the 350 largest public and private companies in Florida. This accolade marks SANDOW’s first appearance on the list, which places them alongside mega-corporations like Sun Capital, Publix and JM Family Enterprises.
Founded in 2003, SANDOW has over 100 employees in its Boca Raton-based corporate headquarters and hundreds of employees worldwide. In November 2012, the company relocated to a new 30,000 square foot, state-of-the-art office in Florida Atlantic University’s Research Park. This past spring, SANDOW also established global headquarters in New York City’s iconic Time & Life building.
SANDOW has expanded its footprint both organically and through acquisitions, and has achieved an average annual compound growth rate of nearly 40 percent since its inception.
“Ten years ago, I started this company in a small office with one employee and now we have a diverse and successful portfolio of leading brands with offices across the globe,” said Adam I. Sandow, CEO and Chairman of SANDOW. “Being named to Florida Trend’s list is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team and the incredible growth we’ve continued to experience year after year.”
Established in 1958, Florida Trend covers the issues, people and ideas that define Florida business and matter most to executives. To quality for inclusion in the publication’s yearly list, a company must be headquartered in Florida and be privately held with less than 80% of its ownership held by any other single company.
